Second son of Candice and Rupert Oliver, Lance was always considered a "little funny" by family members. As he grew into a teenager, Lance realized "little funny" was a nice way of saying he was gay. His coming out did not go well at the age of 14 and he left for Estrada Beach later that year. Finding a community of acceptance and a passion for cooking, Lance would eventually reconcile with his family. He met his current partner, Troy, at a party for one of his clients in 1980. They have two twin daughters together, named Autumn and Summer.

Troy Wilkens comes from a long line of military men and it only made sense for him to follow in his father's and grandfather's careers. Being from the middle of the country, there weren't a lot of options available. In 1979 he was dishonorably discharged for an affair with another male soldier. Settling in Estrada Beach, he would use his military training to start a fitness club called Camp Fitness. Today, Camp Fitness is the club for the stars, many who use it to train for action films and other physical roles.

Biography:
Using a loophole in surrogacy laws, Autumn and Summer were adopted by each partner separately. They were given the name Rothstone, same as their adoptive fathers. The name Rothstone comes from Lance's grandmother's first married last name, Stone, and second married name, Roth. Because gay marriage is illegal, the two changed their names as a show of their eternal love and dedication to one another.
